Gentle Yoga - A supportive, nurturing, slow-paced and relaxing practice. Expect slow flows, gentle twists, deep stretching & breath work. A session that relaxes the body, refocuses on the breath & cultivates awareness of the mind. Meditation - Activates the parasympathetic nervous system increasing focus, relaxation & logic. Students may lie on a mat; sit in a chair or on the floor. Participants should wear comfortable clothing & bring a yoga mat. For the guided meditation portion of class, students can sit / lie on their mat or sit in a chair.
